There’s a particular morning each year when I wake up and can feel that we’ve turned the corner. The air softens. The hills take on a brighter green. The light hangs on a little longer at the end of the day.

I’ve always loved the shift into Daylight Saving Time. That extra hour of light feels like a gift. After the quiet rhythm of winter in the cellar, the longer days bring renewed energy to the vineyards, the winery, and honestly to me too.

Spring at Sans Liege is a season of momentum. Budbreak sends small green shoots toward the sun. The cellar doors in Tin City stay open later. We taste through barrels and refine blends while the light stretches across the vines. It is the time of year when possibility feels real.

I’m excited to share this Spring 2026 release with you. These wines carry the depth earned over the winter months, but now feel awakened by the coming warmth. They offer tension and energy, brightness and length. They are built for longer evenings, open windows, and tables that slowly fill with friends.

Winter is introspective. Spring is expressive.

I hope you open these wines outdoors. Let the last light of the day catch the glass. Let them remind you, as they have me, that there is something grounding about the return of the sun.
