Wine that combines the history of three vintages, Transcendentalist is broad and uncommonly diverse. In the glass, it smells of mulberries, aged manchego, cherry cola, violets, shortbread and smoked serrano. Dusty notes of black olives, herbs du provence and ground coffee are also prominent, joining juicy raspberries, wild game and toffee bar to round out a palate that demands time to reflect on.
39% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 28% Mourvedre
10 barrels made.
Decant 2-4 hours and drink slightly below room temperature. Aging potential is 6-10 years.
