Wine Profile

Tasting Notes The 2009 Pickpocket Grenache is built like a cage fighter with a background in ballet, it’s full of power and grace. Brawny scents of cherries and cream, bread pudding, fig and cinnamon stick are deftly supported by a lithe palate of bright cola, mince meat, broken branch and kirsch. The elegant palate is sustained with an herb driven finish and ripe, chalky tannins.
Vineyard Notes 20% Pipestone - Grenache, 40% Derby - Grenache, 40% Alta Colina - Grenache
Production 11 barrels produced
Other Notes Decant 1-2 hours.  Drink slightly below room temperature.  Aging potential 6-10 years.
