Wine Profile

Tasting Notes The 2008 “Call to Arms” is Curt’s magnum opus to Chatenauef du Pape Blanc and the unheralded Alta Colina Vineyard. The wine strikes a beguiling balance between fresh citrus, cool minerality and rich texture. Call to Arms bursts with fragrances of young mango, fennel, chalk dust, vanilla cake, persimmon, baked apple and slivered almonds. It is a serious and distinctive single-vineyard expression of the potential of Central Coast Grenache Blanc.
Winemaker Notes This wine is 68% Grenache Blanc and 32% Rousanne.
Production 65 cases made.
Other Notes Before drinking, cool and wait 10-20 minutes after removing from refrigerated container. Aging potential is 5-7 years.
